The Allan House wedding ceremony- Benjamin Borgstede & Tiffany Nguyen

Benjamin and Tiffany’s beautiful wedding at the Allan House was something straight out of a fairytale. Picturesque parlours, lush private grounds, and open-air verandas make The Allan House one of Austin’s most sought-after venues for weddings and receptions. Offering a seamless blend of Victorian charm and modern sophistication, our 1883 mansion and courtyard spaces provide exquisite historic settings for weddings in all styles – from traditional to modern, but always timeless. The couple set the tone with their sophisticated wedding attire. The groom donned a classic suit while the bride wore a white backless gown.

New to the city, fresh out of college, and ready to take on the world, Ben and Tiff did not realize that on the last weekend of the summer of 2016, their hopes and dreams of single life in Portland would not go as planned. Where would Ben be, but manning the grill and ensuring closest proximity to the food the first time their eyes met. Although Ben doesn't believe Tiff's love at first sight claim--if anyone knows Tiff, food is her sixth love language, so of course, she fell in love with the food the first time she saw it.

Hiking, snowboarding, and drinking their way through PDX: they fell in love. So how else would Ben propose, but after a perfect day snowboarding in Colorado? He enlisted the help from Tiff's sister, Kat, and surprised Tiff with her dad and little brother, Paul, crashing the proposal. Asking all of our family and friends to wish us well in this next chapter by sending little videos, Ben made sure Tiff still felt loved in our Corona-era proposal.

California is our present and most likely our near future, but who knows what lies ahead. Tiff never thought she'd move to CA in the first place, so anything is possible as long as they have each other.
